Health Technology Assessment: New Opportunity to Apply for Joint Scientific Consultations
On 1 April, the Commission will open the second request period for joint scientific consultations (JSCs) for 2026. JSCs enable health technology developers to consult on the planning of their health technology and how clinical studies should be conducted to best prepare for a subsequent Joint Clinical Assessment.
The submission period is open from 1 to 29 April 2026 to developers of both medicinal products and medical devices.
