Beqvez (previously Durveqtix): New gene therapy treatment for haemophilia B received approval from the European Commission
After a positive draft opinion by the Committee for Advanced Therapies (CAT) on 24 May 2024, the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) adopted a positive opinion on Beqvez (previously Durveqtix) the 30 May.
Following the CHMP opinion, the 24 July 2024, the European Commission granted a conditional marketing authorisation to this new treatment for adults with severe or moderately severe haemophilia B.
